HISTORY
Mizar was founded in the 1990s by Daniela and Gian Paolo Fumagalli. Two different backgrounds, textiles and hospitality, came together to create a service company to support the growing Villa Erba exhibition centre in Cernobbio. Our roots are on Lake Como, but over the years we have created events for Italian, European and international clients all over the world.
Today, the second generation, Anna and Maddalena, is a key part of the company and handles the hotel and events divisions respectively, which no longer just serve companies, but also private individuals.

Loves good food, murder mystery books and watching Chasing Classic Cars. He has worked in the hotel industry from a young age and knows all the ins and outs of the industry.
MADDALENA
Head of the events division
She loves cooking, travelling and discovering new destinations. A naturally organised, creative and curious person. The embodiment of patience.
ANNA
Head of the hotel management division
She always wanted to work in hotels... and she has been doing her dream job for 28 years. She is an empathetic, determined and curious multi-tasker.
